Hands down the BEST park we have ever taken the kids to. First it is all gated so you can let the kids run and play without the fear of them wandering outside your view. My daughter Navy loves to RUN in the opposite direction of where she is supposed to be so the gated playground is so nice. There is an entire sand area with diggers, water and toys. There is a whole section of swings and slides, and another area for interactive musical toys. The kids never get bored at this park.

Randall Oaks Zoo is a perfect little gem that kids of all ages can enjoy. At $5.00 for residents and $5.50 for non residents, it is an affordable, interactive activity. You can feed the animals and ride ponies. Each day they have times where they bring out specific animals that you wouldn't have other wise been able to interact with. Next to the zoo is a large park so pack a lunch and enjoy the day!

Santas Village is exactly what it sounds like an amusement park that is all themed around Santa but for Summer fun. There are amusement rides for kids of all ages including little ones that wouldn't normally be able to go on rides. Inside you will also find a petting zoo area where you can feed the animals.

This year we will try out the water park that is attached to the amusement park!

Bumblebee Play Café is a family owned indoor playground, party venue & café in Elgin, Illinois.

The owners say: "As parents of young children ourselves, we believe that playgrounds and unstructured play time are essential to a child’s healthy development, and we love providing kids of all ages a fun and welcoming space to do just that!

We have two separate play rooms for kids–one for little kids, and the other for big kids, as well as a climbing wall and karaoke room.

Bumblebee also has 6 private party rooms and a café that offers a variety of drinks, eats and treats!"

One of the best things we did was get the kids into gymnastics classes. Since they are not of school age yet, these classes help get them used to taking direction from a teacher and socially interacting with other kids. Huntley gymnastics has the perfect mom and tot class that is teacher guided and you work with your child to go through the gymnastics obstacles. 

On Saturday they have open gym where the kids of all ages have free rein of the big gym and it is so much fun watching them run around from the beam to the trampoline and back. After Saturday open gym, they are both asleep in the car before we even get home!

Open gym is Saturdays: 12:30-2:00pm

Bowlero is a fun place for the whole family to enjoy or leave the kids at home and have a date night! There is a bowling alley area along with an arcade and laser tag section. The arcade is not overwhelmingly big so if you have kids who are running around, you can keep track of them pretty easily. After you have won all your tickets, you can exchange them all for prizes. When we went, we bowled with the whole family and hit up the arcade at the end. 

While you bowl you can order food and drinks to be brought over to your lanes. They have bumpers and guides to help the little ones navigate the bowling lanes. 

If you have kids of varying ages, this is the place you should be.
